Math Bee
Math Bee is a mathematics competition for students in grades K through 8 of Indian origin. The North South Foundation (NSF) piloted the program in 2004 before expanding it to more centers in 2005.

Levels
Participants have three levels that they can participate in, depending on the grade level.
- Level I: For grades 1 and 2.
- Level II: For grades 3, 4, and 5. MOEMS-type problems can be found.
- Level III: For grades 6, 7, and 8. MATHCOUNTS/AMC 8-type problems can be found on Level 3.
Rules
In all three levels, the Math Bee has the same structure. Participants are given two phases of math problems to be solved without a calculator. The first phase has 25 free-response questions to be solved in 35 minutes, while the second phase has 20 free-response questions to be solved in 15 minutes.
