The San Diego Math Circle (SDMC) was started by Richard Rusczyk in 2003. Around 200 students are now members.


Competitions

SDMC students compete in a variety of mathematics competitions to sharpen their skills. The SDMC hosts the San Diego Math League and the San Diego Math Olympiad. Students from the SDMC form the San Diego ARML team to compete at the American Regions Math League (ARML).

The past two winners of the San Diego chapter of MathCounts have been SDMC students.
