The San Diego Math Circle (SDMC) was started by Richard Rusczyk in 2003. There are currently around 200 students who participate.
Competitions
SDMC students compete in a variety of mathematics competitions to sharpen their skills.
- Students from the SDMC form the San Diego ARML team to compete at the American Regions Mathematics League (ARML).
- The past two winners of the San Diego chapter of MathCounts have been SDMC students.
