College-specific full-tuition scholarships

This list of scholarships is for prestigious scholarship programs at specific schools that are full-tuition and merit-based. Please note that they are extremely competitive, so do not count on these programs as your only source of financial aid - be sure to fill out financial aid applications and apply to many other scholarships.

  • Posse Foundation Scholarship for students living in select cities who show leadership and academic potential and are nominated by their high schools. Participating universities include Boston University, Pepperdine University, Pomona College, UC Berkeley, UCLA, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and many other schools as listed here. website
  • 1890 Historically Black Land Grant Universities - USDA/1890 National Scholars Program for entering freshmen to study agriculture, food, natural resource sciences, or other related disciplines at participating institutions. website
  • Historically Black Colleges and Universities - Tom Joyner Foundation Full Ride Scholarship for high school seniors to attend HBCUs. website
