The Number Sense Round in mathleague.org is a 10-minute competition where the students try to answer as many questions as they can in the set of 80 questions.

Question Difficulty

These questions are mostly quick ones, like arithmetic, GCD, LCM, exponents, roots, etc. To get through these quickly and accurately, the student needs to know the shortcuts.

Scoring

Each correct answer bags 5 points, while either an incorrect answer or a skipped problem has a deduction of 4 points.

The maximum score for this round is 400 points.

It is calculated up to the highest problem number you have done.

But if you do only problem 1 and get it right, your score is 5.

So don't skip around!
