The AoPS Online School hosts classes for talented middle and high school math students. Classes focus heavily on methods of mathematical problem solving.
Types of math classes
- Math Jams are free classes that include information sessions, problem solving lessons, and competition solution discussion immediately after major mathematics competitions.
- Subject Classes cover entire areas of mathematics such as algebra, geometry, number theory, counting, and probability.
- Problem Series focus on problem solving methods and curriculum associated with specific contests such as MathCounts, the AMC 10, and the AIME.
- Worldwide Online Olympiad Training (WOOT) is a school-year-long lecture and test taking program focused on proof writing and mathematics Olympiad problems.
Levels of subject classes
- Introductory (at the level of MathCounts, the AMC 10, and much of the AMC 12.
- Intermediate (at the level of the AMC 12, the AIME, ARML, and the Mandelbrot Competition.
