Solution

\[\frac{1}{1+\frac{1}{2+\frac13}} = \frac{1}{1+\frac{1}{\frac73}} = \frac{1}{1+\frac37} = \frac{1}{\frac{10}{7}} = \boxed{\text{(C)}\ \frac{7}{10}}\]
