Do you by chance know where to get old GPML tests because I need to start preparing for the meet on 10/3

I think there's an email list/free test email thing here that gives tests sometimes...I'm not sure how often.

I just got this test from our math team leader...

Edit: OK, just email to highschooltests@mathleague.org and juniorhightests@mathleague.org ...

Ah yes, I remember taking this test (NCCQM is the same as GPML).

Substituted random numbers into my TI-89 for about 10 minutes (the time limit is ridiculously large for NCCQM Sprints), eliminated A and C, guessed E correctly. Yay.

@mathemagician1729: You can only get one "free" test from those emails/links, but you can buy some from mathleague.org.

set a^2+b^2+c^2+d^2 = 1 by homogenity, now use lagrange multipliers

a bit quicker than partials imo

  • Good job on 5 problems on USAMO. I know that is a pretty bad score for someone as awesome as you on a normal USAMO, but no one got all 6 this year so it's GREAT!

VICTOR WANG 42 ON IMO 2013 LET'S GO.

See you at MOP this year (probably :) ).
