Why one should not

do math in Missouri:
At 5ish this morning, Ladue called and said there was still school. One hour later, they said "most of our bus drivers did not show up. We will cancel school now." (BTW, it's pretty trivial to drive to school right now. And also according to my math teacher, "If we have a snow day, we won't be open. AMC policy is that the test scores will not be accepted if the school is not open." Is this really true?)
Then calling Clayton, "If you get a math teacher, we will let you take the tests." So two math teachers called them and then, they were still like, "No, you have to take it with your own school/team. We wouldn't want to harm your school district."
Currently, no other schools have it and are open.
Should it be this hard to do math in Missouri?
Knowing Missouri, this requires just >2 inches snow to happen, so there is a >90% chance this will repeat on the B. Which means I will have to probably go with a 100 AMC12 from USAMTS. Woohoo. Time to practice getting perfect AIMEs. For real.
EDIT: Currently calling SLU HS. Hm... maybe...
EDIT2: Nope.
EDIT3: Trying John Burroughs.
EDIT4: Nope, and apparently MICDS just finished taking it.
GG
EDIT5: YES I CAN TAKE THE AMC10 AT THE MIDDLE SCHOOL.

EDIT6: Taking contests while depressed from *certain earlier events* is not helpful.
