So I have been appointed the (co) coach of a sixth grade math team for my elementary school.
Any suggestions on what to do? :P

I happen to be coaching the 6th grade team of my elementary school. Or I might be. I have the first two weeks or so written up.

So what exactly do you plan to do? I'm thinking about trying to teach them some basic counting/combo, but I'm afraid that they won't be able to follow.

You know your school is kind of fail when freshmen have to coach 8th graders :roll:

I'd suggest basic algebra, assuming you're not coaching a bunch of 6th grade AIME qualifiers. Throw in some easy counting and maybe geo for fun.
