Commentary:
The Math:
- Pink index cards.
- Also, the blue books are fairly badly misnamed.
- I ended up putting my school's address in place of my own because I was paranoid. Whee.
- There were three rooms? I thought there were only two.
The Math:
- It took me a while to realize that Cyrus was constantly watching the odometer rather than at random, after which the problem became much easier.
Lot of reading, though. darjn.
- AoPS V2 trivializes this.
- ARGHHH I wrote out prime factorizations for all the numbers starting with 2011. I stopped at 2029 because I ran out of lines.
Well, at least I got the answer.
- That was a cool problem
A friend of mine actually expanded the whole thing to get some massive polynomial.
- Careful Vieta. I believe I got this correct...
I didn't really like this one, it just depended on how careful you were and whether you knew Vieta.
- Darjn I spent about an hour attempting to prove this rigorously then I just got annoyed and assumed a bunch of things and got 6. Hm.
FAILFAILFAIL. 
So I misdid the coefficient of R which basically screwed the whole problem over. Grr.
- I spent wayy too much time trying to relate this to USAJMO 4. I gave up after a while, and I still haven't figured out the answer.
