Accreditation

WASC Accredited

The Art of Problem Solving Online School is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) as a Supplementary Education Program.

Service Vendor Status

Art of Problem Solving operates as a service vendor for a number of homeschool charter school networks. Charter school service vendor status gives some AoPS homeschool students the opportunity to spend institutional funds on their course enrollments.

Advanced Placement (AP)

Two Art of Problem Solving Online School courses are approved as AP courses by The College Board: our Calculus class is recognized as an official AP Calculus BC course, and our Physics 1: Mechanics class is recognized as an official AP Physics 1: Algebra-Based course.

By College Board rules, only students in grades 9-12 may take our Calculus or Physics 1: Mechanics courses for AP credit, but students of all ages are welcome to enroll.

NCAA Approval

Art of Problem Solving is an approved provider of NCAA Core Courses. This means that student- athletes whose home institutions grant credit for our courses may use our courses to help establish their NCAA eligibility.
