If $A,B,C,D$ are the vertices of the $4$ side length square, and $E,F,G,C$ for the $36$ side length square starting from the top-left going clockwise in triangle $XYZ$ , then $\triangle EZC\sim\triangle AZD$ , and since you know the sides of square $ABCD$ and triangle $EBA$ , ratios finishes. Similar similarities (draw an altitude from $X$ ) finishes the problem.
