Here are some easy ones

Problem 1 :
Let $f:R \to R$ be a function such that
$f(f(x))=x^3+\frac{3}{4}x$
for all $x \in R$ .
Prove that there exists three distinct real numbers $a,b,c$ such that $f(a)+f(b)+f(c)=0$ .

Solution :
$(a,b,c)=(f(y),f(0),f(-y))$ clearly satisfy the equation for all $y \in R$ so

Now we are just left to show that there exists some $y$ such that $f(y),f(0),f(-y)$ are all distinct which is obvious as $x^3+\frac{3}{4}x$ has only one real root so we are done

Problem 2 :
Find all functions $f:R \to R$ that satisfy
$f(xy)=f(x)y^2+f(y)-1$
for all $x,y \in R$

Solution 1: Set $x=y=0$

Solution 2: Compare $P(1,x)$ and $P(x,1)$

Solution 3: $f(x)y^2+f(y)-1=f(y)x^2+f(x)-1$
$\implies \frac{f(x)}{x^2-1}=\frac {f(y)}{y^2-1}$
$\implies f(x)=(x^2-1)c$

These all give no solutions
