Hi everyone,
The MOAA team is excited to announce the third annual Math Open At Andover (MOAA)! The MOAA is a competition designed for middle schoolers, written and run by students at Phillips Academy in Andover, MA. It's a great chance to get involved within the mathematical community and meet other young, talented mathematicians, as well as a fun opportunity to prepare for future competitions.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this year's competition will be held virtually and free of charge, and consist only of team rounds for middle school math teams of up to four students each. Teams will be given a fixed window of time on test day to complete each round. More information can be found on the Contest page of our website.
Practice for the MOAA can be found under the Archives page of our website. This tab features the previous two years' sample and competition problems, as well as results and statistics.
The contest will be held on October 10th, 2020. Registration will be open until October 1st, so there is plenty of time to sign up and plan for this competition. If you're competing, be sure to join our official Discord server, found at this link! Please contact us at registration@andovermathopen.com if you have any questions about registration, or director@andovermathopen.com for general questions. We will also answer questions in this thread. Visit our website at http://www.andovermathopen.com for more information. Thank you!
See you there,
The MOAA Team
