Source: Use your common sense! (enough is enough)
Some users don't want to learn, some other simply ignore advises.
But please follow the following guideline:

To make it short: ALWAYS USE YOUR COMMON SENSE IF POSTING!
If you don't have common sense, don't post.

More specifically:

For new threads:

a) Good, meaningful title:
The title has to say what the problem is about in best way possible.
If that title occured already, it's definitely bad. And contest names aren't good either.
That's in fact a requirement for being able to search old problems.

Examples:
Bad titles:
- "Hard"/"Medium"/"Easy" (if you find it so cool how hard/easy it is, tell it in the post and use a title that tells us the problem)
- "Number Theory" (hey guy, guess why this forum's named that way¿ and is it the only such problem on earth¿)
- "Fibonacci" (there are millions of Fibonacci problems out there, all posted and named the same...)
- "Chinese TST 2003" (does this say anything about the problem¿)
Good titles:
- "On divisors of a³+2b³+4c³-6abc"
- "Number of solutions to x²+y²=6z²"
- "Fibonacci numbers are never squares"

b) Use search function:
Before posting a "new" problem spend at least two, better five, minutes to look if this problem was posted before. If it was, don't repost it. If you have anything important to say on topic, post it in one of the older threads.
If the thread is locked cause of this, use search function.

Update (by Amir Hossein). The best way to search for two keywords in AoPS is to input
+"first keyword" +"second keyword"
so that any post containing both strings "first word" and "second form".

c) Good problem statement:
Some recent really bad post was:
$lim_{n\to 1}^{+\infty}\frac{1}{n}-lnn$
It contains no question and no answer.
If you do this, too, you are on the best way to get your thread deleted. Write everything clearly, define where your variables come from (and define the "natural" numbers if used). Additionally read your post at least twice before submitting. After you sent it, read it again and use the Edit-Button if necessary to correct errors.

For answers to already existing threads:

d) Of any interest and with content:
Don't post things that are more trivial than completely obvious. For example, if the question is to solve $x^{3}+y^{3}=z^{3}$, do not answer with "$x=y=z=0$ is a solution" only. Either you post any kind of proof or at least something unexpected (like "$x=1337, y=481, z=42$ is the smallest solution). Someone that does not see that $x=y=z=0$ is a solution of the above without your post is completely wrong here, this is an IMO-level forum.
Similar, posting "I have solved this problem" but not posting anything else is not welcome; it even looks that you just want to show off what a genius you are.

e) Well written and checked answers:
Like c) for new threads, check your solutions at least twice for mistakes. And after sending, read it again and use the Edit-Button if necessary to correct errors.

To repeat it: ALWAYS USE YOUR COMMON SENSE IF POSTING!

Everything definitely out of range of common sense will be locked or deleted (exept for new users having less than about 42 posts, they are newbies and need/get some time to learn).

The above rules will be applied from next monday (5. march of 2007).
Feel free to discuss on this here.

Let $ABCD$ be a cyclic quadrilateral with circumcenter $O$, such that $CD$ is not a diameter of its circumcircle. The lines $AD$ and $BC$ intersect at point $P$, so that $A$ lies between $D$ and $P$, and $B$ lies between $C$ and $P$. Suppose triangle $PCD$ is acute and let $H$ be its orthocenter. The points $E$ and $F$ on the lines $BC$ and $AD$, respectively, are such that $BD \parallel HE$ and $AC\parallel HF$. The line through $E$, perpendicular to $BC$, intersects $AD$ at $L$, and the line through $F$, perpendicular to $AD$, intersects $BC$ at $K$. Prove that the points $K$, $L$, $O$ are collinear.

I intend to add.every Mock AIME mentioned in aops wiki,.so those above shall be posted in separate threads and will be added soon

I plan at first to recheck all already posted mocks, especially USA(J)MOs for any shortlisted problems, and shall continue afterwards

Thanks for the suggestions

Some others before I forget:

beta Mock AIME: https://artofproblemsolving.com/community/c5h63721p380055
2013 ASIA Team Mock AIME: https://artofproblemsolving.com/community/c5h522735p2947895
2014 AAST Mock AIME: https://artofproblemsolving.com/community/c5h578866p3422066

Looks like everything post-2014 is thoroughly covered, it's mostly the older mocks that have been forgotten at this point that need to be posted

EDIT: I realized treemath's AIME from 2021 doesn't have problem threads posted yet:

EDIT 2: Another one

all mock AIMEs from Aops wiki 2012-2023 here,

besides this from 2015 (due to dependency of the problems),

have been posted in separate threads and are collected inside AIME Mocks

I shall continue posting years 2010-11 from wiki and all the above mentioned mocks

To create a folder collection, you follow the path: Community / My Aops / My Collections / press + on the right (below My blogs )/ Forums and Other Collections (on the menu ''Create collection'')

I didn't understand the list question unless

I notice you put the year number before the name of mock AIME because the thing naturally sorts collections by alphabetical order and that's much easier to organize than by title, where the chronological order would be all over the place.

Do you want me to change the CIME collection titles so the year number is before? I have control over them and that will mean you don't have to scroll through a bunch of other collections to get to that because of alphabetical order.

Also, I briefly remember one more mock AIME that probably got missed because it wasn't in AoPS mock contests:

https://artofproblemsolving.com/community/c5h1412815

Discussion forum link that has all the problem threads already:

@above, problem threads from CMC, GC, OTSS are the only three without number at first, if you rename the CIME I shall rename the other two (or even replace them.with new post collections) to maintain the same format

Just a note: for the 5th Mildorf AIME, he didn't include solutions to all the problems in his document, only ones to 14 and 15.

But I wrote up solutions to all 15 for the 5th one here:

@parmenides51 I have always been troubled by the fact that since I have solved many past AIME tests for multiple times and the AoPS Wiki's Mock Contest page can be hard to navigate, I am running out of a list of high quality, well organized, and easily accessible mocks. Thank you so much for providing a resource that I longed for years!

Since it did take me considerable efforts to find this page, I have added the link of this page to the AoPS Wiki's Mock Contest page to make it easily accessible for everyone.

I created a similar compilation containing most AMC mocks in the AoPS Wiki's Mock Contests page here in google drive (though containing pdf files instead of contest folders and perhaps not as high quality as parmenides51's). Also, this is a google drive folder containing the pdf files of 50 mocks I selected from parmenides51's compilation (and a merged file of these files) based on the following criterion: 1. Contains solution document 2. High quality enough and 3. Designed entirely to mimic an actual AIME (i.e., geo mocks or mocks with time limit other than three hours are not included) to print for my AIME training. It may be helpful for people who prefer doing mocks with solutions available or doing mocks in print :)

The following mocks (abbreviated), though satisfying the aforementioned criterion, are not included in the mock AIME folder since their pdf documents cannot be generated due to LaTeX errors: 2010 AIME I, 2012 AIME I, 2016 AMSP Cornell AIME, 2018 Eric Shen's AIME, 2019 Summer AIME, 2019 WTmOO AIME, 2019 CIME I, 2019 CIME II, 2020 CIME I, 2020 FAIME, 2020 PIME, 2020 SIME, 2020 SLKK AIME, 2021 DIME, 2021 CIME II, 2021 OTIE, 2022 DIME, 2022 JIME, and 2022 XYZIME

@above, the reason pdf to latex doesn't work is because I have added links to solutions pdf and other links at the end

if you want to use the original pdf, go to the original place that contest was posted and take the original pdf

example:
Regarding 2022 Dime, that is the link to the post collection inside AIME Mocks,
on the top is the link to where it is posted, this one
following that link you get the original pdf at first link, here it is
if there are solutions, you will probably see it in the first post collection, where I collected problems posted in separate links, after the problems

Got it! I added the files in the AIME mocks selection folder, their solutions, and the original problem & solution file for the mocks whose pdfs cannot be generated from LaTeX to my original compilation here .
