darn garlic pills.
These kind of count as cool facts, but here's some chemistry. I'm typing it out to share cool info, but also so I can remember it better.
Quantum Mechanics!
Merry Christmas!

Quantum Mechanics!
A wave is a periodic motion that transmits energy.
The velocity of a wave is calculated by multiplying the wavelength by the frequency.
Frequency is measured in hertz(Hz) by the way.
Isaac Newton(great Christian) came up with the particle theory of light. He thought that light existed as particles.
A Dutch physicist named Christian Huygens proposed the wave theory of light.
Turns out, they were both right, and they were both wrong.
Around 1905, Albert Einstein and Max Planck conducted experiments and studies that showed that light had a dual nature. If you think about it, Einstein's famous equation,
actually shows this.
is energy,
is matter, and
is the speed of light. Solving for
, we get
The speed of light is related to both energy and matter. WHAT?!?!?!? I know; it's amazing.
Now what does the Bible have to say about this?
Light is a complicated thing. We can barely understand this thing that we experience and see every day.
Light exhibits a wave-particle duality. Light can be described fairly accurately by laws of particles, but also by laws of waves.
Earlier, we talked about the speed of light. What is the speed of light anyway? In a vacuum, light travels at about 299,792,458 meters per second.

John 1:4-5 wrote:
In him was life, and that life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, but the darkness has not understood it.
