Going back to school tomorrow

Fantastic song
Winter break ends tomorrow for me. In reality, it ends today because tomorrow I go to church, come home and finish packing, carpool with a friend to Cal Poly, unpack and settle back in, and then arrange my schedule and (maybe) find my classrooms. Cal Poly's on the quarter system so we start near the beginning of January instead of near the end like semester schools.
It's weird; on paper I had a good first quarter at Cal Poly. I got involved with different groups, exercised at least 6 times a week, and got good enough grades to make the Dean of Engineering's List. But I was actually fairly stressed, and now I'm more stressed than ever as I head back for my second quarter.
I'll talk more about my struggles in a later post; I don't feel like writing anymore now, besides a few things:
Over break I got to go to swim team a few times and hang out with my swim team friends more than once. I also got to spend time with other friends. While I slept in most days and did pretty much nothing, I can say break was pretty good. I'm gonna miss my "close" friends so much
Keep ya boi in your prayers please =D
This quarter I'm taking 16 units instead of 13. Hopefully I never have to take more than 16 units in a quarter, and I should be good but we'll see with my math minor. For anyone interested (and to give this post more substance), I'm taking CPE 101 (Intro to programming), KINE 250 (Health Living - it's a GE since I couldn't get any major classes I wanted), BMED 213 and BIO 213 (also GE's, should be easy and I just found out a friend is in one), PHYS 133 (already took 131 [or the equivalent] at Foothill, you can read about my adventures in that class on this blog; 132 is harder so I'm taking that next quarter; this quarter I can take 133 with my roommate who's pretty good at physics).
On Mondays and Tuesdays I'm done at 1:30 and 2, so I have a lot of time to swim (eat lunch #2?). On Wednesdays and Thursdays I have a break from 2-4, so hopefully I can squeeze in some swimming sessions. On Friday I just have class from 12-2.
I really have to go to sleep earlier. Every day except Friday class starts around 9 or 10, and since I plan to eat more breakfasts this quarter I should probably not be waking up right before class. Not to mention Mondays and Wednesdays I have class from 10 to 2 with no real breaks besides the 10 minutes between periods.
Anyway, farewell to home and everything around here. I'll be back in 10 weeks.
Oh hey Epic Con is next weekend; I really, really hope that's gonna be fun and I get close with people.
