Notes to self (to-do/stuff to blog about):
- Family camp (where I saw programming1157)
- Christmas vacation
- European dodgeball
- PSAT and SAT
But before I talk about that stuff, I'm gonna take the little time at the end of this year to talk about . . . this year.
Later I'll make some more in-depth observations and reflections, but for now I just need to get on here and share some long-overdue stuff, mostly music that I've found recently but still haven't shared.

Electronic music!
I've been exploring a lot of edm on YouTube recently, subscribing to channels like DSG and Vital EDM so I get to listen to random edm that pops up in my email. I usually bookmark cool songs on YouTube. Here are some cool songs that I put in my plug.dj playlists:
Muzzy: Let's Rock
(yup DnB and Drumstep are still big on my list)
Rootkit: Against the Sun (that beat drop tho)
Anchor (Noisestorm remix -original by Tritonal)
I've also found another cool artist; he's called Tristam. I follow him on Twitter and am subscribed to him on YouTube. He's a Monstercat artist, and he started making music when he was like 16 or 17 (he's 19 now) - He's pretty legit. Maybe I'm biased because I prefer drumstep stuff, but in my opinion he's one of the best artists out there. Here are a few from him that I really like:
Truth
I Remember
Till It's Over (not actually drumstep or DnB but Glitch)
Here are a couple more tunes just cuz:
N3RV: Are You Ready? (a kinda random artist that I found on Twitter; consequently I found this)
Two songs from Capital Kings:
-We Belong As One (feat. tobyMac)
-In The Wild
Bullseye: Andromeda (hm is that drumstep or dubstep?)
Now something interesting happened while I was gone (from blogging), at least, in my music journey. I'm starting to like dubstep . . . hm I must be stressed or something (I am) but now the strong bass and beat drops are really kicking in with me. Perhaps it was after the killball tourney at church (in which my team won) where a lot of dubstep was played, that I am now likes this. I don't know if anyone on AoPS likes dubstep, but here are a few from my plug.dj playlist that I feel are worthy to be here:
Pegboard Nerds: Here It Comes (another group I've already liked)
Katdrop: Mental Breakdown (feat. Take Me There)
Now those two had "dubsteppy" drops, but here are some more straight-up dubstep songs (for me, less singing):
Audiomachine: Guardians At The Gate (Access Denied dubstep edit) (original artist is a cool artist btw)
iNexus: Insanity
Tut Tut Child: Singularity
Pegboard Nerds: Self Destruct (the 2nd most viewed Monstercat song on YouTube)
And now on to one of the most epic stuff ever shared on this blog . . .
Sometime this winter I found Instrumental Core. From them I was introduced to dubchestra. It's what it sounds like, dubchestra+orchestra, which happens to equal pure epicness.
The thing I stumbled upon was this, a remix from them (IC) of a piece called "Time" by the amazing Hans Zimmer, a guy who makes awesome movie music. From there, everything went ham as I came across a vast collection of ridiculously epic music . . . enjoy. (we won't even bother to hide these)
. . . and the two best ones . . .
oh btw please listen to that (Strength of a Thousand Men remix) on x1.5 or x2 speed.
It's worth noting that a lot of Instrumental Core's remixes are of Two Steps From @#!*% . Those two guys (Two Steps From @#!*% ) are also excellent. They and Audiomachine (mentioned above) make music mainly for movie trailers. They're the guys that compose those epic tunes you hear in the background of trailers.

Oh and I just have to say right now that Oliver Twist has, literally, the best plot of any story (film or book) ever. (Ok there are probably others that I've read/seen before, but I've read Oliver Twist twice now and both times after finishing it I've thought "dayum that was good.")
Well I guess that's it for tonight; it's almost 1:00 A.M. so yea. . . Goin bowling tomorrow with a bunch of guys from a sort-of church group.
I'll probably edit this post or make a new one with stuff I forgot, and, oh yeah, music from other genres XP
