This is actually ridiculous

This sheriff stuff is getting out of hand.
There's no question that the AoPS sheriff is constantly taking action. My concern is that someone is abusing sheriff privileges.

WHAT IS THIS??
I posted a post calling out two clearly incorrect posts with the opinion that we should have downvotes because of users posting blatantly misleading information. I even got 2 upvotes, one from a fairly seasoned user. In my opinion, if this kind of incorrect information (spam is it not?) is allowed to stay in a thread but my post saying it's incorrect gets deleted, something's a bit off.
If people have the right to be incorrect, then others should have the right to correct them. This isn't even about maturity or not. With the exposure that SS is getting, incorrect information shouldn't be allowed to just sit there.
Someone even pm'ed me saying I should make a whole new post about bringing downvotes back, but as I was reading that pm my post got deleted.
smh on a completely unrelated note I'm going home for spring break tomorrow.
