Floating around in the water for an hour is horrendously painful. Last 4 days have been pretty fun except for that single hour of pure torture.

darn so coach J left yesterday. I'm still sad
I might actually go to Cal Poly though, and I'll probably still see him somewhere.
But it's still soo sad. He's done so much for me, my family, and our swim team.

It's shocking how much I've accomplished this summer. I've become the coach to (sorta) replace coach J, and just tonight I drove home by myself.

I've challenged myself to finish my college app essays' first drafts within the next 3 weeks. hm I have to finish my common app essay first draft tomorrow. oh dear
