Gmail Password

For three entire minutes I was using the wrong choice for one of the key words and freaking out...
Strangely, I have never done the same thing for my other account's password, which is literally twice as long and has twice as many symbols instead of letters. I do make typoes, though.
And at the same time, somewhat hypocritically, I just rotate across about five or six passwords across basically every other site. (exceptions: AoPS (of course), Facebook, and FFC)
Am I being overparanoid again, in a world where apparently one percent of people use "123456" as their password (and I don't have any sensitive data to hide anyway?)
