Seven is an integer.
About a year ago I wanted to host an AoPS puzzlehunt and "expected to release it in a month". (psst...) Anyway I got distracted by math and my own perfectionist tendencies to make every puzzle solution make sense after reading lots of other puzzles. Meanwhile, random other puzzlehunts appeared, some from fellow AoPSers and others by the global puzzlehunt community.
After watching these hunts, I finally realized that there just aren't enough people on AoPS who are interested in, capable of, and have enough time to allot for solving such puzzles for an interesting competition, so I think I am just going to start posting whatever I have, perfectionism be damned. There are no rules; just solve them for your own entertainment.
I may or may not actually ever finish writing the whole set of puzzles and the meta.
Note that I have not gotten anybody else to test-solve these even though I know it's virtually impossible to accurately judge puzzle difficulty this way.
In this post, nothing above and up to the three dashes below is part of the puzzle. Except maybe the quote.
