That Moment When

you write a problem that looks interesting

solve it in about an hour and a half

realize you fakesolved it and the problem looks hopeless

construct a simpler version of the problem and claim that it's much easier

and solve this simpler version after 10 hours, 3 more fakesolves, and a Python simulation
