I'm into puzzle writing now!

Not the hardest or best puzzle out there, but it's something :)

Rules: Standard Sudoku rules apply. Along thermometers, digits must increase from the bulb end. In addition, every 2-cell cage must contain a prime number when read left-right or top-down.

f-puzzles link (that someone in the CTC Discord server graciously made for me!): link

Have fun! :)

spent 30min solving, ended up with 2 valid solutions, and then i realized some of the bulb things were in the opposite direction from what i thought :|

very fun puzzle. I think the concept is interesting, but can definitely be improved upon (restricting the last digits of the boxes and then applying the same trick multiple times seemed to do the trick). I did really love the spoiler that triggered a really powerful forcing chain :)

Keep up the work, and I'm sure you'll get better with each passing try! Excited to solve more of your puzzles in the future...

  • Do you have a link to your main blog that you started after graduating from high school, I couldn't find it. @dj I met you IRL at Awesome Math summer Program several years ago.
