i just practiced viola for 2 hours without a shoulder rest
bc i couldnt find mine for some reason
in my head i was like "yeah this is fine i played without a shoulder rest for like a year and i was okay"
BUT
i forgot to consider that this viola was a different viola than the one i used to use
and when i played
it hurt
a lot
but i still did it because i need to practice
but now
125 minutes later
the spot under my chin and on my neck and on my collarbone is really red
i swear if i wake up with a bruise in one of those spots tomorrow
im actually gonna cry
if that happens im praying that no one notices it
if anyone does notice it then im in for one hek of a day
i guess this is what happens when i do stuff without thinking :sob:
