about to fail my science test
by pupitrethebean, May 23, 2024, 1:53 PM
i am extremely underprepared
i know im gonna pass but i dont know by how much
on the study guide i was supposed to finish it and turn it in to get the answer key
but i lost mine and i didnt get to get the answer key
so i dont know whether or not my answers were correct
the unit is called "Geological Changes on Earth"
and its mostly about like plate tectonics and stuff
so like continental drift and earthquakes and plate boundaries etc
i like mostly understand the unit right
but theres some things that i just cannot get to stay in my brain
for example like scientists like Alfred Wegener
and Harry Hess
and J. Tuzo Wilson
and all the stuff that they discovered is so similar that i get like extremely confused
also like the evidence they used to prove stuff like its so confusing
i think im pretty good with earthquakes (faults and triangulation) but a lot of the issue is just plate boundaries and sea floor spreading
and also the earthquake scales
they basically measure the same thing its so stupid
also like HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO KNOW THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A SEISMOGRAPH, SEISMOMETER, AND A SEISMOGRAM
THEY ARE LITERALLY LIKE THE SAME THING THEYRE LITERALLY USED INTERCHANGABLY IN CLASS
anyways yeah i heard theres like 3 versions of the test
and i think im gonna get the hardest one because im taking AP bio next year
theyre all like 50 smth points so im hoping i only lose 1 or 1.5 points
theres gonna be a short answer one which im extremely concerned about but whatever
its so unfair the other science teacher doesnt give tests at all and they always get like 20 attempts on quizzes
wtv wish me luck
adios
