Did you know that stereo madness is the first level of geometry dash? It is part of the original 7 levels released in geometry dash following the 1.0 release in 2013. It is the only level that gives one star when completed, and it is the first level with an easy difficulty. There are 2 triple spikes at 63% and 79%, respectively, in which the player must time the jumps later than usual to make it past them. The level introduces the cube and the ship game mode. Three secret coins were added to the level in update 1.6. The first coin is collected by slipping through an invisible wall. The second coin is obtained by jumping onto a block that contains a spike below it, obtaining the coin. The third coin is collected at 98%. Following the second ship sequence, the player must go up in a spot which is open, leading them to a cluttered and more challenging ship section. This coin was considered very hard, as the player has to straight-fly through a narrow spike section, but the overhead spikes were later removed to compensate for this issue. Back on Track, also known as its abbreviation, BoT, is the second level of geometry dash, and the second level with an easy difficulty. It is the only level that gives 2 stars when completed in normal mode. It is often designated as the easiest level in Geometry Dash despite its ranking. It introduces the yellow jump pad, in which it boosts you up a medium jump with a maximum 4 block clearance unless timed correctly, in which if can boost you up to 20 blocks up with the robot game mode, which does not appear until update 2.0. Three secret coins were added to the level following the 1.6 update in Geometry Dash. The first coin is collected by dropping down onto a blue gravity pad, which doesn't appear until xStep. The second coin is flying through an open passage in the first ship sequence. The third coin is collected by dropping down onto a platform towards the end of the level. Polargeist is the third level of Geometry Dash and the first level with a normal difficulty. It is the only level to reward 3 stars when completed in normal mode. It was added as part of the original 7 levels in 1.0. It was originally given a hard difficulty, but was later downgraded when more levels had been added. It introduces the yellow jump orb, in which it makes the player jump when clicking as the player coincides with the object. It's infamous 3rd secret coin, added in the 1.6 update, requires strict timing and two blind jumps in order to obtain it. The other two coins are located in the first ship sequence and one located after the sequence and can be obtained by dropping onto a platform below the level. Dry out is the fourth level of Geometry Dash and the second level with a normal difficulty. It was originally given a harder difficulty when first added in the 1.0 update in 2013, but its difficulty was later downgraded as more levels were added. It introduces the iconic spike-on-half-a-block and the upside down game mode, in which the player flips upside down. This happens at 40% and ends at 50%. Three secret coins were added in update 1.6. The first coin is obtained by dropping down onto a platform below the level, holding, and being propelled up by a yellow jump pad and to the upside down section. The second secret coin can be obtained by jumping onto a spike structure with timing, and dropping down, collecting the coin. The last secret coin can be obtained in the last ship sequence, in which the player must fly above a spike structure and between a spiked ceiling with utmost precision, their effort rewarded by this coin. Base After Base is the 5th level of geometry dash and the first level with a hard difficulty. It was added as part of the original 7 levels in update 1.0 in 2013. Often designated as the worst and most forgettable level of the main levels, Base After Base does not introduce anything new and has the worst placement of secret coins out of any main level. It is the only level to reward 5 stars when completed in normal mode. It has gameplay from the original level in Geometry Dash released in its trailer, Ultimate Destruction. Three secret coins were added to the level in update 1.6 of Geometry Dash. The first coin can be obtained by dropping into a wall with no gameplay, and being propelled up by a yellow jump pad and up to the level. The second coin can be collected by jumping in between a spike and a platform, landing into a gravity portal which has the coin, and ending with a sloppy recovery to the first ship sequence. The third coin is obtained by holding in the first ship sequence into a wall, and obtaining the coin. Can't Let Go is the 6th level of geometry dash and the 2nd level with a hard difficulty. It was added in update 1.0 as part of the original 7 levels in 2013, and originally had a difficulty of insane, but it was later downgraded to hard as more levels were added. It does not introduce anything new, and it is the only level to reward 6 stars when completed in normal mode. It is often designated as having a huge difficulty spike from Base After Base, a less challenging level. Three secret coins were added in update 1.6. The first coin can be obtained by dropping down in a seemingly random place, and then being propelled up by yellow jump pads. The second coin is similar to Dry Out's third coin, in which the player must also fly in between a structure and the spiked ceiling. The last secret coin is obtained in the upside-down section of Can't Let Go, and the player collects the coin as two yellow pads and one magenta jump pad propels the player up to the rest of the level. Jumper is the last level of the original 7 levels added into geometry dash following the 1.0 update in 2013. It was originally given a rating of Insane, but it was later downgraded to a difficulty of harder as more levels were added. It introduces the upside down game mode on the ship, in which the player traverses spacious passageways in this gamemode. It contains one triple spike, a generous decrease from Stereo Madness, and has a lot of cluttered passageways and needs a lot of jumps to complete, hence the name Jumper. It often follows the pattern, __/\__//_/___. Three secret coins were added to the level in the 1.6 update in Geometry Dash. The first coin is obtained in the first upside down ship sequence, in which the player must fly down into a narrow spot to obtain the coin. The second coin is obtained by jumping onto 3 blocks, jumping and obtaining the coin, then falling down onto the rest of the level. The final coin is located towards the end of the level, and can be obtained as the ship gamemode. On the section where there are many missile-shaped spikes, the player must fly under one of them, obtaining the coin, then swooping back up. Time Machine is the 8th level in Geometry Dash and was added in the 1.1 update. It introduces the infamous mirror portal, a portal which flips the player's screen, like a mirror. It is the second level with a harder difficulty. It is known for its many triple spikes located throughout the level, as well as having the first "monster," in terms of Geometry Dash design. It is one of the only levels which ends as the upside down ship. Three secret coins were added to the level in the 1.6 update in Geometry Dash. The first coin is obtained by jumping through a narrow opening after passing through an overhead spike, obtaining the coin. The second coin is obtained in the first mirror ship sequence, in which the player has to fly through a narrow passage with spikes on both sides to get the coin. The third coin is obtained by missing the gravity portal towards the end of the level, followed by two orb clicks. The second orb is a magenta orb, and is not introduced until Theory of Everything. Cycles is the 9th level of geometry dash and the third level with a harder difficulty. It was added in the 1.2 update, and introduces the gravity ball, in which you can change gravity when you click. It is also lighter than the cube. Cycles is the only level to reward 9 stars when completed in normal mode, and is one of the only levels to award an icon when completed in practice mode. Three secret coins were added in the 1.6 update. The first coin can be collected by the ball. The second is collected by the upside down ship, doing a risky swoop up and then down to the main passage. The last coin is collected by doing a sequence of early clicks, obtaining the coin. Xstep is the 10th level of geometry dash and the first level with an insane difficulty. it introduces the blue gravity pad, in which it changes gravity for the player upon contact with it. It was introduced in the 1.3 update in geometry dash and is the only level to reward 10 stars upon completion in normal mode. Clutterfunk is the 11th level of geometry dash, and the fourth level with an insane difficulty. It was added in update 1.4 and introduces the mini game mode, in which the player becomes smaller. It is the only level to reward 11 stars when completed in normal mode. Theory of Everything, more commonly known as ToE, is the 12th level of geometry dash and the 5th level with an insane difficulty. It was added in the 1.5 update and introduces the UFO game mode, much like the retro game Flappy Bird. It also introduces the magenta jump orbs and jump pads, in which it gives a small jump when coming in contact with the player. Electroman Adventures is the 13th level in geometry dash and is the 6th level with an insane difficulty. It was added in the 1.6 update in Geometry Dash. It introduces destructible blocks and more saw blades. Clubstep is the 14th level of Geometry dash and the first level with an insane difficulty. It was added in the 1.6 update, and is a level that focuses on secret and unconventional ways to complete the level. It rewards 14 stars when completed in normal mode. It is one of the only levels to not reward an icon when completed in normal mode except on steam, only a UFO when completed with all coins obtained. Electrodynamix is the 15th level of geometry dash, and it also has an insane difficulty. It was added in update 1.7 and it introduces speed change portals, including the 2x speed and 3x speed portals. The latter's usage does not come into use until 60%-100%, in which the player traverses difficult passageways in this speed. Hexagon Force is the 16th level of geometry dash and it has an insane difficulty. It was added in the 1.8 update in geometry dash and introduces slopes, the dual game mode, and the slow speed portal. Blast Processing is the 17th level in geometry dash and is a level with a harder difficulty. It is the level that requires the least amount of jumps and the longest level among the 22 main levels in geometry dash. It introduces the wave game mode and it is experimented in spacious passages. Theory of Everything 2, also known as ToE 2, is the second level in geometry dash with a demon difficulty. Also added in the 1.9 update, it is a wave heavy level and is the second and last level to use destructible blocks. It is the 18th level. Geometrical Dominator is the 19th level of geometry dash and is a level with a harder difficulty. It was added in the 2.0 update, and introduces the versatile cube: the robot game mode. It also introduces moving objects and various move triggers. Deadlocked is the 20th level of geometry dash and often designated as the hardest level of geometry dash. It is the third demon of geometry dash, and the level which rewards the most stars when completed: 15. It introduces the teleportation portal and the green orb, in which the latter switches gravity but keeps your momentum. It is a memory-heavy level. Fingerdash is the 21st level of geometry dash, it has an insane difficulty, and it was added in the 2.1 update. It introduces the spider, a less versatile gravity ball, and also introduces the dash triggers, in which when the player comes in contact with it, they can hold to move on the x axis but stay still on the y axis. Dash is the 22nd level of geometry dash and has an insane difficulty. It was added in update 2.2 of geometry dash and introduces 86 new camera triggers, including the new swingcopter game mode. It also introduces many more move triggers and camera rotate triggers.
