the spring concert

our concert was last thursday and we had an afternoon concert for the school to watch and a nighttime concert for parents
this post is gonna be about the nighttime concert
cuz the daytime concert was a disaster that really does not need to be spoken of again
anyways
so call time for me was 6:30 cuz the concert starts at 7
but i got there early at raound 6:25 so that i had time to tune my viola before going to the chorus room to warm up there
since i was a little early i got to hang out with my friends and we messed around at the piano a little cuz we were all early
so basically concert order was
concert band
cantabile (auditioned chorus)
orchestra
jazz band
chorus
so im im cantabile, orchestra, and chorus
so basically at 7 the concert band starts right then around 7:05 cantabile lined up in the stairwell
since we were a little early we got kinda bored and started doing the macarena before it was our turn
our songs for the concert actually didnt turn out too badly
we had slight slip ups here and there but it went a lot better than the daytime concert
right after cantabile linh and i sprinted through the halls to get to our instruments (she plays violin) cuz orchestra was alr on stage
i ended up losing one of my pieces of music and was the last person on stage so that was kinda embarassing but wtv (im convinced someone stole my music cuz i also lost my music in the day concert)
the orchestra songs were mediocre
then we had a few minutes of waiting in the chorus room cuz jazz band was on stage
for our chorus performance we did 4 songs
the last song was a greatest showman medley that was almost 8 minutes long so that was fun
billiam (my fav music teacher) played drums for that and our school principal played electric guitar
in the daytime concert the audience (7th and 8th graders) were very sacrilegious and kept clapping in the middle of the songs
the parents were good tho
anyways yeah the concert went pretty well lol
my 9th grade friends gave me a bunch of paper flowers and they were really cool
