hi guys my laptop is about to die
im in culinary arts rn and the sub is my ex ap world teacher
do you ever contemplate the meaning of life
im not religious but sometimes i wish i believed in god because it would make life a lot easier
and a lot more worth living
i sometimes wish someone could give me actual evidence of the existence of (any) god
because id feel happier

2. interestingly enough, I feel like your thoughts of 'i wish there was a god' is why a lot of religious people do believe. there's zero concrete evidence otherwise, and I personally believe that religion is just one huge coping mechanism for humans to escape the fact that a.) they are responsible for their own actions and b.) life is, in the grand cosmic scale of things, meaningless (sorry if this sounds super nihilistic I couldn't find a better way to phrase it)

I think that the whole point of living is to enjoy it while you still can, other than that you're just literal nothing. Even the whole human population right now amount to nothing in this grande universe. I think we all should be greatful to be given this opportunity to experience things, that's the point; to be happy, be sad etc. (But this is ironic because based on human society right now, your life is pretty much redetermined to suck if you're not at least middle class.)

I unfortunately cannot provide any input on the existence of God because it's so controversial and any discussion imo is pointless (there is really no valid proof nor valid disproof)
