Hey all! I'm Michael Sun.

A quick introduction: I was born in LA in 2000, moved to Shanghai in 2002 and have lived here since. I've been attending an American school since 2nd grade and first got introduced to competition math just last year (9th grade). I studied hard but ended up short of the AIME in last year's AMC 10A and felt so depressed. After the period of depression, I felt the most motivation I've ever felt and set the goal of making JMO this year and AMO next year. For the past year and at this moment, I'm studying intensely for the AMCs and the AIME. After the AIME, I'll have some time to blog. My plans for this blog in the foreseeable future is:

-A summary of the AMC tests, narrating my experience as well as reflection, comments
-A summary of the AIME, narrating my experience as well as reflection, comments
-Advice on the AMCs
-Advice on the AIMEs
-Effective ways to prep for math competitions
-JMO qualifying tips (only if I make it this year )

I'm not sure if I'll have time to post problems and solutions the way MSTang does (huge fan of him, by the way), but I'll probably post some problems and categorize them in appropriate categories for practice, which you guys might find helpful, and maybe a solution once in a while.
