Busiest day of the shortest month of the year?

by shiningsunnyday, Feb 22, 2017, 3:12 PM

Tomorrow is a big day:
  • Go to finance office before first period to pay ISEF registration fee, get receipt
  • Meet with multivariable teacher along with 2 other students to finalize next year's math course, most likely Stanford High School's Linear Algebra and Differential Equations, set timetable for application
  • Mu Alpha Theta elections part II at lunch (I already did mine), results will be out :wow:
  • ISEF meeting after school, finish all paper work so I can start on the official poster board, most likely digitally using pages and 3D print it
  • At same time my dad will be at school meeting with two unnamed teachers who have been nuking my GPA this semester
  • Meet with APUSH teacher after that to discuss timetable for AP exam prep
  • AMC 12A scores, AIME cutoffs out
  • Jan SAT scores out (apparently it might be cancelled again due to cheating? rip)

    Upcoming:
  • Canadian Math Contest next Wed
  • Ross starts rolling admissions March 1, written essays done, need to send transcript, test scores, teacher recs, and write-up problems (also keep working on them), goal is to hand in before mid-March
  • SUMAC due on March 3rd, solved all, working on generalizations, need to finish write-up, written essays done, also need the above
  • ISEF regionals March 17th, poster board + researching applications (super hard) + work will take about an hour a day, today we realized one of my relative on my stepmom's side is a professional designer, saves me a lot of work; try to finish digital board layout by end of first week of March so I can start practicing presentation.

For those interested, our project will be titled "Bounds on the Metric Dimension for Families of Planar Graphs." Did I get that right, cjquines? :) We have 3 original results, one due me!
  • AIME II March 22nd, will work on one AIME final five set a day, one full length practice test each Saturday morning

Pulled an all-nighter on two red bulls two nights ago, many more to come. Also, I've cut down my procrastination levels to a near zero (except facebooking some AoPS friends), so kind of behind on current events on stuff. Apparently Trump got elected president?

Words can't describe my excitement at everything. For the first time, I feel like I'm actually alive.

    Mamba mentality.

EDIT: Almost forgot: a really good newly-added song from my playlist:

:o good luck!

also, how do you feel after all-nighters? not sure how it's even possible to pull them off while school is going on

It feels light-headed, but one all-nighter still allows you to function properly. Just don't pull two consecutive ones :P cause then some parts of the body stop functioning oops.

Oops all nighters will kill you, be sure not to pull any a week before (at least) AIME

you will have no energy or stamina to last the test.

The ones who are crazy enough to think they can change the world are the ones who do.
