Why not? mentality

Just got back from a 5 on 5 pickup game at the gym versus college students here at Ohio State U.

Yesterday, I performed my favorite song "Who, you?" by my idol G-Dragon at the Ross Talent Show - much thanks for the opportunity and the stage.
Unfortunately, the mic (which is the kind lecturers use as opposed to an actual mic) sorta gave out 10 s in and would fizz whenever I start rapping.
So ironically, people complimented me afterwards on my dance parts (despite rap being the main focus and the dance parts made to just fill in the holes). Fortunately, I didn't mess up a single lyric and my tone was on point (though it would've been nice if people past the third row actually can hear me
). Though I fell short on my expectations and got roasted on Snapchat after, I still got the experience.
Last but not least, I've cut about 10 kg since coming to Ross - from capping my calorie intake at 1000 and putting in time at the gym everyday, which I'm proud about. I think I can do 2-3 kg more (which will also put me in my ideal weight region). Special shoutout to the people at the gym and my friends here who I ball with everyday - niceness and self-improvement mentality is contagious.
Till next time, peace - will write full reflection on Ross at end of camp.
Some pieces of motivation I've been using:

(He literally dissed the whole event while hyping himself, saying Kpop stars nowadays get fed awards simply due to popularity and skill, just amazing).

My three-pointers were mostly money in warmup so I felt really honored when the guys called me (and a few others) out of everyone shooting around there.
Low-light
The average height there was at least 6'5 and I was the only Asian.
High-light
I led my team in shots taken in both games we played.
Low-light
Not a single one of them fell.
High-light
None of them were air-balls though, many being in-and-outs; in fact, most looks were open and which I created for myself after making a move on my 7 foot wing defender.
Juked out my defender(s) on like 5 separate occasions.

Low-light
I was like 0/10.
High-light
The guys were very positive and still kept on passing me and allowing me to iso despite all the misses.
Low-light
I was thoroughly banged up from their athleticism (esp. since I was defending the primary ball handler).
High-light
I came out of the game feeling amazing. Today's not my day. But next time, I'll get 'em.
