A Depressing Poem For Meow

Free As A Worm
(By flec)
Fixing my gaze
On the clear blue sky,
After being into
Darkness and dirt
For quite some time.
Lifting my head
And looking straight
At the blue and green
That lies above.
Quietly I lift my head
Meeting the fresh air
That comes with it.
Waiting until peace falls over,
I slip out silently.
Saying hello,
To the ever so familiar
Greens, beauty, and the
Grey, black, and pointy object.
As it grasps a hold of me.
Looking away as I am carried away
By a bird as swift as the breeze.
Into the sky, into the world
Into freedom
For the first time
In a long time
But then everything stops
As the beautiful bird
Flies down
And finally, stops at an edge
I fall, slowly, quietly, and peacefully
Into a wide-opened mouth
And
Fall
Straight
Inside
To
Death
Yes, I ruin everything.
But I hope you enjoyed
