my hs team had our first away game on friday so i'm gonna be writing about that!!
we had to ride the bus for about an hour and i sat alone because of the room hahah

it turned out to be really lonely just taking pictures and staring out the window though
i fell asleep for like 15 minutes and got woken up by my friend saying i had terrible posture.. she was right my neck hurt so much kek
she also got a picture of me
and i was like
"no wonder my back hurts 24/7"

freshman game
someone's dad filmed the entire game and it was really cool to watch
the other team lost a TON of points from rotation errors so that was a 3-0 win

jv game
2-1 game wooo!! another win
it was a really close game with 1-1 at first and then we won the last set #letsgo

varsity game
I HAVE SO MUCH TO SAY ABT THIS WTH??
first off the line judges were the other team's kids' PARENTS. and no sh- they called every ball from our side out.. even when it was obviously in..
and also the high ref didn't have any volleyball knowledge or something because she kept calling a double
our outside literally got called for a double and she actually has good hands..
they won the first set
then our varsity team won the next 3 sets

lol the team was so bias along with the line judges PLUS the high ref but luckily the second ref corrected a lot of the high ref's mistakes
also the fans were so rude and were boo'ing at us and stuff but we started cheering louder

and even funnier as soon as the other team lost all the fans left.. like they got up and straight up walked out without clapping..
karma is funny

anyways as we were watching that we were talking about how old our grandparents were and that they could STILL ref better than the refs that were judging the varsity game

after the game
varsity won 3-1 which meant they played 4 sets, and every set was so close that the game took almost 2 hours
so when we got on the bus it was already like 10 pm
i sat next to this w literally cracked girl on varsity whose also really nice (:
my friends next to us were SO ENERGETIC THOUGH they were eating cheetos and doritos and didn't stop talking the entire ride i think
i don't know though i was playing chess (i beat a 1400 as a 1300 in blitz woowoo) and then fell asleep.. again..

i got so pissed off though my friend woke me up 5 minutes before our bus arrived and i was like "WHY DID U WAKE ME UP I COULDVE SLEPT FOR 5 MORE MINUTES"
anyways i'm pretty sure my friend next to me also fell asleep and i feel bad because i probably ended up leaning on her or something because the ride was turbulent
bad news though when i fell asleep my contacts went dry because obviously you can't put eyedrops while you're asleep
so when i woke up my eyes hurt like CRAZY and my left contact either slipped around my eye or fell out.. to this day i haven't found it so i'm hoping it fell out and isn't behind my eye cause that would be bad

anyways
i went home
celebrated our 3-0 sweep
went to school the next day exhausted
got lost going to the bus
and had conditioning at practice..
