evil & omnipotence

[warning may be offensive, but then again, it’s my viewpoint. i would love to hear from christians or other religious people so we can talk, but please be respectful. i pondered and spent a long time writing this and organizing my ideas into one essay. you can’t “talk” my way into your beliefs, so respect that.]
i grew up being raised to be religious. i went to a lutheran preschool and a catholic kindergarten, but ever since that young age something just didn’t click and in first grade, when i was only six, i asked my mom to switch me. she did.
basically what i’m saying is that i haven’t had the “religious” side in me for almost ten years now. i’ve had these ideas and philosophies from a young age and i want to share them, because i enjoy and find value in discussing these types of ideas with others who think differently. thinking differently is okay and i love to hear different perspectives. i usually don’t care for comments, but for this one, i would appreciate it if you left a comment on your own idea because it helps me build my viewpoint and expand my knowledge.
one philosopher i really looked up to at one point was j.l. mackie, who talked about omnipotence, wholly Good, and God’s coexistence with evil. he argued i guess for atheism, saying that if god existed, he wouldn’t let evil exist. at least, that’s how i interpret his words. you can do your own research if you want because i might be incorrect, or you may interpret things differently
SO TO ORGANIZE EVERYTHING
i pondered mackie’s ideas for a long time, but eventually built up from there. there may be two different scenarios, right>
1. god creates evil to coincide with good, because good can’t exist without evil
2. he supports karma
BUT mackie could be right as well
1. what if god doesn’t create evil and has no control over it?
2. if god really existed, what about the true evil? wouldn’t he always let karma lead its way?
i have many examples i would love to share but feel like are not developed enough for. if you want to talk more you can pm me, i used to not have pms open but i opened them recently cuz why not
so to conclude things,
my view on god is that He’s kind of a ghost of an existence that’s left to the human to create. you could choose to ignore the presence and live your life thinking god doesn’t exist, or isn’t a significant figure in your life. you could live your life worshiping it, because you feel like it’s your duty to repay Him for what He has done for us. you could choose to believe in other perspectives, and dislike Him. but whoever God is, i surely don’t know, but i feel like every image of God is different in everyone’s head. it might be the white-haired man with the beard and the robe for many people, but the voice you hear of Him and how you really interpret His message differs.
again, i’m nonreligious. i don’t go to church every week, i definitely know less than many.
but i am educated
i know there are many, many people who are passionate about their religion and strive to learn more. if you are triggered by this post, i’m sorry and please keep scrolling i guess.
i really do want to talk though. i’m interested in philosophy, and the existence of god has really been something i am unsure about and want to discuss more.
