things you didnt know about me pt2

1) i used to do competitive jump rope
i was pretty good, too... i could do double crosses, series, and at one point could get almost 70 in the 30 second speed
i did this in korea though, so because i only went a few months a year, every time i went everyone else would be so ahead of me (when i used to be better than them) so i just quit like last year LOL
i tried jump rope again recently because i wanted to improve my vertical and i still had most of my skills, except i could do less in a row. and i got tired in like 15 seconds...
2) peppermint > polar ice > spearmint for gum
i used to be a total polar ice addict, but i chewed that so much that i got tired of it so now i really like peppermint hahah
little me used to think they were spicy then i had buldak and got a grip of myself
3) my approach vertical jump is 21 inches.
it used to be 18 six months ago (july) so i think i've improved a lot (and i will continue to improve!)
4) i used to be severely allergic to dairy (until age 10), eggs (until age 5), and mildly allergic to wheat, shrimp, garlic, nuts (the doctor was really shocked that i outgrew that because nut allergies usually do not go away), and peanuts. for environmental allergies on the other hand, i still have them all and it makes my life living hell in the spring
5) my favourite casual snacks are those mushroom shaped crackers. the bottom is the bread, and the mushroom top part is chocolate!
so they used to only be sold in korea, but they came out at my nearest costco and i'm thrilled. i've had one every single day and they kept me energized through our volleyball tournament today.
for people who don't know, and for korean/japanese people who want some nostalgia, here:

these were the very first dairy food i ever had when i outgrew my allergy
and the only dairy food aside from ice cream and cheese i still have (i'm still mildly allergic, so it causes lactose-intolerant-like symptoms which are very annoying sometimes.)
they are basically the only mushroom i will eat... aside from korean songyi mushrooms which are so good wth my dad's boss used to get them for us all the time when they came out seasonally but now anymore. haven't had them in so long. am very mad. every season i ask my mom if they are here and i have gotten more aggressive over the years...
5 years ago: "mom, do we have songyi mushrooms this year?"
mom: no
3 years ago: "mom, why aren't there songyi mushrooms"
mom: because he didn't get them this year
1 year ago: "mom please why can't you get us songyi mushrooms it's not like we're out of money right?"
mom: it's not on me, and NO where the heck did that come from
this year: "where tf are the songyi mushrooms"
mom: slipper moment bruh
