so a lot of huge things have happened on our vball team and it has honestly left me feeling bittersweet

so let's start positive, though, since i think it's better to have the happy then the bad than to have the bad and the happy (i can argue for days about that)
anyways
so we had our game against our rival school

second set was 18-24 we were losing
and then i got subbed in to serve and i served all the way to 26-24 and ended the set with an ace
that was one of the best and worst feelings of my vball season because i felt like i was going to faint
like i legit thought that i would pass out and knock over the line judge or something
or be in the middle of my jump serve then suddenly deathdrop to the ground unconscious
but i managed to serve 8 points so i got player of the match :') that was cool

anyways
we lost the third set because our setter got called for 12 lifts even though SHE WASNT LIFTING
we were so mad at the ref because he never called the other team's setter for a double/lift but our setter got called twelve times
and our coach didn't sub her out even though she was obviously shaken so she kept on being called anyways REFS SUCK SOMETIMES and of course they're always 70 year old men with a beer belly and are nearly blind

the mixed-feelings thing
so basically one of our teammates went on vacation so she couldn't play for three weeks or something
so during that time since she missed practice for a week i was kind of her "helper" and i helped her learn the rotations and everything
and then today all of a sudden she was moved up to the higher team and yeah
it all happened so quickly suddenly she just left
we were all so proud of her and i especially felt really good because she improved so much and i had watched her improve

and still idk if it makes me a petty person or not but i still felt kind of bittersweet because she's literally a basketball player and she managed to move up b4 i did and i literally play vball as my main sport and basketball as my second ;w;
it's just that i'm a v competitive person too
it makes me so proud of her cuz i love her so much and she's really good
but still it makes me feel sad-happy

plus we have our game tomorrow and our second tournament soon and she has to be there oml she's so good we need herr
