If it plays out well on their end you'll see them together and they won't be bothered by it and your friend will talk to you casually while your crush is right there and you're struggling.

But...

given that you certainly aren't college age -- the place where relationships actually do start to play out, and long term, and late college at that -- their relationship won't last. (Assuming they've made, erm, progress and aren't just looking at each other from opposite sides of the classroom.) You never know how long but you do know it won't last.

And in that dreadfully painful part of your life, you will have a couple of things come to you: you will realize that your crush isn't as good as you thought; their relationship will come to an end; you will have realized how to recognize which people are better than others from this experience; you will eventually find another crush; you may have gotten severe depression if their relationship lasted. Wait. Oh.

Anyways, I hope you can get something to distract you from that painful scenario; sadness or periods of depression are actually great times to find out a hobby and dive into it and come back thinking it was silly that you were ever sad.
