our new pet is finally home.
everyone say hello to RISU, a female roborovski dwarf hamster.
around five months old, extremely small, and just plain adorable c:.
she was brought home on august 25th, 2021, 8:00 pm.

risu is a... really fast hamster.
in fact, she jumped out of her pet box while we were coming home and was loose around the car so we had to STOP the car and search the trunk, where she had escaped to ;-;
and she was SO fast we had to shut the cage door so she wouldn't escape on her first day.

risu is also a very.. sound sleeper
we thought she had escaped her cage after she was nowhere in sight and we had searched the cage.
and finally, when we grabbed a handful of bedding from the corner, risu was smack in the middle of it and was asleep. she twitched her whiskers, didn't notice the chaos, and legit
fell
back
asleep.
