[mbti] things intuitive types struggle with + challenge

heres a list of things intuitive types (n) struggle with often (special challenge w prizes at the end)
as an intuitive type myself, i hope this can be a relatable post, and for those wondering if they are an intuitive or a sensing
i'm no expert, but if you dont identify with at least one of these, you might want to research more on the sensing side or look for my sensing type entry in the near future!!
theres a challenge at the end, too, so stay in tune for that hehe
okay moving on
i'm sorry i can't write one for an observant type as accurate, but i'll ask my mom and hopefully right a blog post about that too really soon!
ik there are a lot of sensing types out there ;; hang in there (:
1. zoning out
because intuitive types want to dig in deeper than the subjective stuff school teaches, we zone out a LOT. this is a struggle because we zone out when the teacher is saying something important, too. ex: zoning out when the teacher announces an important test date or a rule
2. sensing type parents
the most common arguments my parents and i have i think are due to our sensing and intuitive personalities. i'm always looking for the future, while my parents constantly focus on the present and the past. my parents will say things such as, "you made this mistake in the past so you're going to make it now" while i argue, "can we stop dwelling on the past? i want to do this for my future."
additionally, my parents are very traditional as a lot of sensing types are and insist that the old way is the better way. such as for math problems, i want to try a new approach whereas my father (math person) wants me to stick with the normal ways. having both sensing parents as an intuitive, these differences can be difficult for me, and probably for a lot of other n types with s parents.
3. traditions
as an intuitive type, family gatherings can be SOOO hard for me because of how traditional the older people are and the expectations set. such as, you're expected to wait until adults eat until you eat, have straight a's, be interested in engineering and medicine if you're an asian, etc. so when you are NOT interested in these things, you're basically an outcast and you are immediately yelled at and told to "fix your ways." as an asian interested in music and sports, my path with my older relatives will probably be turbulent... haha... ;w;
4. focusing on present day (when you have to)
unfortunately, sometimes in life, you HAVE to think about the present, and intuitives often fail to do that. ex: you have a big test tomorrow but you want to focus on your future and practice more basketball or something. so you zone out, forget about the test, fail, and that affects your future. we sometimes fail to recognize that present day is important sometimes, and we end up getting drained because of that.
5. writing down long answers
for intuitives, idk for everyone but for me, i tend to think things out in my head a LOT more than being practical. so when writing down answers, text messages, paragraphs, and even direct conversation, i'd think what i want to say in my head and fail to physically write/talk it out.
number 6 and 7 are spotting details and reading subjective articles, but i'm not gonna write that down since it's kind of lengthy already plus is self explanatory.
i'll write it later if i have time
okay this is my list ;; let me know if theres any more you thought of that you forgot.
