our flight got cancelled, then three people lost their flight seats, then the plane’s fuel ran out and they had to stop in wisconsin, but still the best trip of our entire lives

anyways as a graduation trip the school picked 52 people to go on an east coast trip with two history teachers, 1 counselor (her daughter was on the trip), and a tour guide.
we would explore historical monuments, memorials, and museums and stuff on the east coast
and yayayayyyyy i was picked
i got to go
the trip was amazing for half and absolutely terrible for the other half ;; luckily i was the amazing half haha

so here are the pros
we got to visit virginia, new york, philadelphia, new jersey, maryland, dc
we saw so much cool (and sad) historical stuff like the white house, 9/11 memorial, the prisons, WE SAW ALADDIN ON BROADWAY !!!!!!!!! and got to shop in times square!! and statue of liberty ofcofcofc
i roomed with four of my friends and it was absolutely chaotic and super fun at the same time
although we were all sleep deprived and pretty much hated each other at the end of the trip
also our flight got cancelled and we got to stay in new york for another day omgg
and our tour guide was literally so amazing i love her so much (she woke us up on our bus ride to new york by blasting taylor swift welcome to new york on the speakers haha)

some cons are that
literally everyone got sick
and had a cough because of the air quality (including me)
one kid got so sick he was th///ing up every 5 seconds and had to stay in the room the last day
same with another kid who got the flu or something
all four of my roommates got sick and i was the only one who wasn’t sick so i had to give them my supply of medicine
our leader teacher got sick too and therefore became moody as hecc
i made a bad first impression on the teacher because i almost got lost in the airport lmho
but then he liked me in the end so yay i was so convinced he was gonna abandon me in dc or something cuz he thought i’d get lost

also the fun part is that he was going to tell me a story about how his first impression of me changed and stuff
and then one kid coughed so much she couldnt breathe and then he couldnt tell me so he promised to tell me on the bus
then the bus got too loud so he was like i’ll tell you at the airport
and then the flight ended up being full so three people including the teacher had to stay at the airport for nine hours to catch another flight back (that flight ended up running out of fuel along the way so they had to stay in wisconsin)
so he told me he’d text me
and he still hasn’t texted me
dying of curiosity

fun trip
i mightve seen some of u east coast aopsers along the way who knows
and dear east coast aopsers
east coast is pretty darn neat
but still i have no idea how you guys survive the humidity
