Organizing & Building AoPS

One of the great contributions the internet has made is as a collection of information. However, one of the things that makes the internet so hard to use is that there's so much of it. Therefore, filtering is extremely important. This, of course, is what has made Google such a behemoth. But even on a small scale, filtering and organizing remains extremely important.
In this vein, I've been wondering how we might do a better job filtering and organizing all the information people come to our site seeking. In the last 12 months, we've been so overburdened with teaching and writing that we haven't paid enough attention to site organization (or development). Val has added some really nice tools and Mathew some nice resource pages, but it's not clear people even know about things like our new contest problem directory, album, or even scholarship list.
Some of these resources are user-generated, and I think we'll be moving much more in that direction in the future. We have a strong and broad enough community to support such efforts now.
In the next 6-9 months we will have more time to devote to these items, both because we are finishing the first round of books, and because we are hiring 1-3 more people. We're looking for suggestions both on how to organize information on our site, and for what more to add to it.
Comments are welcome!
