lol, are you actually planning on doing this? I've thought about something like this for a long time, but am afraid it will offend people.....

(on the other hand, I actually wrote a script to checked my avg response time to an email.. and I turned it off after a month because it was seriously depressing).

Not going to do it formally, but over the last couple months, I have been curtailing the length of my emails. Not enough, I think.

Response length isn't a big deal for me- I'm not high enough on the food chain to get much that needs substantial responses. Keeping on top of the spam flood so I don't miss anything real is a much higher priority.
