That's deceptive. Notice the timestamp, 8pm ET. Thus, while the east coast had three more hours of darkness to cool them down, the west coast was around dusk. Check back at 11am ET.

When I check back at 11 AM ET, Florida will have improved. But it will still be awful in New England and all across the midwest, and a cosy 65 and rising here :)

Frying temperatures with pollution. This is the cycle that goes when you take a breath on the streets:

1) You take in all pollution
2) You take in the fumes of some guy melting PCB's
3) You start coughing
4) Your nose starts burning
5) Repeat.

The people around here probably have lungs equivalent of a chain smoker by the time they're 40.
