New Ways to Get Information Online

A good friend of mine, and someone who was involved in the beginning designs of the Alcumus algorithm, just took a job at a Aardvark, which routes your questions to real human to answer based on the social network of the site. I've only used it once so far, to ask a construction question for my current home project (building a pollo palace), and I got a solid answer in about 15 minutes. Apparently it's faster if you use IM than email. I'll be curious to see how it does. It seems like it would be excellent for certain types of questions, and not useful at all for others.
I think that's probably very similar in description to Wolfram's new "WolframAlpha", which paulancka so enthusiastically mentioned in the shoutbox. I don't know what to think of it yet, but at least it knows the meaning of life.
Edit: My friend gave me this link for those of you who'd like to try Aardvark out. Let me know if that link doesn't work.
