Kiran Kedlaya's Geometry Unbound

by rrusczyk, Jun 17, 2006, 3:21 PM

Kiran Kedlaya has released his work thus far on Geometry Unbound, a book on olympiad-level geometry (and beyond). The book is free, under the GNU Free Documentation license. It's very challenging, but those of you who are comfortable getting into olympiad geometry should check it out. More info, and the book itself, here: http://math.mit.edu/~kedlaya/geometryunbound

Why don't you do something similar? Say with algebra or number theory?

...and post it on slashdot after getting google adwords...

Same reason Kiran didn't completely finish off his book. Time. Not nearly enough of it.
