The Best Problem Writer I Know

Each year, I look over some of the Mandelbrot Competition tests for Sam. Each year, I have the same reaction -- wow, Sam is an amazing problem-writer. While he's one of the best problem solvers I know, I can confidently drop the "one of" and say he is the single best problem writer I know. I'm amazed that he can continue to churn out huge blocks of good problems, year after year. Even the simple problems are good... As I turn to writing problems for the Precalc book and the USAMTS, his is a talent I greatly envy!
