Writing

I'm writing a couple new sections for the second edition of the Intro Algebra book this afternoon (nothing exciting -- laws of exponents, fractional exponents, radicals -- stuff I had assumed would be covered well enough in most pre-algebra programs, but are not). Window open, nice breeze, music in the background. It's been 10-11 months since I've just sat down and wrote (the last 3 months of the Interm Algebra book were proofreading and editing). I'm surprised to find how much I still enjoy it. I'm sure I'll change my mind once I start proofreading. But I'm looking forward to getting going on the Precalculus book in a few weeks.
