More Graphics in LaTeX

by rrusczyk, Jan 23, 2007, 7:28 PM

A few weeks ago, Maria Monks told us about an outstanding way to build graphics in LaTeX. After looking at it, DPatrick's comment about it was along the lines of "We have to dump METAPOST as soon as possible." Fortunately for our LaTeXers on the site, Maria built an excellent guide to getting started with Asymptote. Check it out in the AoPSWiki.

And that guide doesn't even include the 3D stuff Asymptote can do yet. :) Yep, Asymptote's definitely way superior to MetaPost.
